The Brecon Beacons
National Park DVD has been produced in association with the
National Park Authority and consists of two films:

Brecon Beacons National Park (63mins)
Introduced by Ben Fogle and presented by Iolo Williams, the
hour-long film is a must for anyone interested in the Brecon
Beacons National Park.
It’s a fantastic journey through the seasons in all weathers. See
the amazing view from Pen y Fan in sunshine and as a winter
wonderland!
See stunning close ups of wildlife like the Red Kite, take to the
waters on Llangorse Lake and discover the Park’s geology and
remarkable cave systems. Enjoy Brecon Jazz Festival in full swing,
take a ride on the mountain railway and catch some contemporary
dance at Brecon’s impressive Theatr Brycheiniog.
We’ve wonderful aerial shots of the Park’s spectacular landscapes,
including mountains, lakes, castles and hill forts, and we even
filmed from hang gliders, on horseback and alongside people
abseiling and canoeing!

50 Years of Memories (26mins)
To compliment the main film, there’s an additional programme
celebrating
50 years of the National Park, with personal
recollections of memories, stories and hopes for the future of the
Park.
Both films have optional Welsh and English subtitles. The DVD is also available to buy from all Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centres. |
